Stay local at João, a lovely loft with sunny, wrap-around terrace, and enjoy the best of Lisboa, in Graça the most charming and authentic old neighborhood!
The apartment is small but filled with light, and perfect for a single person or couple. It has 1 bedroom with AC, it preserves the old architectural details, old tiles, wooden floor, walls and doors. Dedicated to our Dad „João“ who has been working in the Flea Market since 1975. You will see his old machine and some pictures showing a life of long and hard work (the old radio was one of his few hobbies in the past).
The wrap-around roof terrace is a real Plus! From there you can enjoy the beautiful view of the National Pantheon`s dome with the river behind it. Enjoying a cup of coffee from the terrace in the morning or the sunsets with a glass of wine is priceless.
The apartment situated on the 3rd floor of an old building on a little street, is perfectly located. Close to most of the famous touristic spots, and just a few steps away from the Flea Market (Feira da Ladra), the National Pantheon, S. Vicente Monastery, and beautiful viewpoints.
The apartment is also situated a few steps from a quiet garden- Jardim Botto Machado, with an amazing view over the Tejo River, a little coffee-place, a playground, and fitness outdoor equipment.
Graça is the most genuine neighborhood in Lisbon! It is safe, central and beautiful. It is known for its amazing viewpoints, small colorful tiled houses, worker`s villas, ancient palaces. You will be impressed with the lively atmosphere and all the things you can do!
The neighborhood has everything you need. It is only a 5 minute walk to “Largo da Graça” square with its 28 Yellow Tram, local shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and bars. It is very easy to walk or take public transport everywhere. A 10 minute walk to Santa Apolonia Train/Metro station (blue line) and buses. A 20 minute walk to the city center.
In the apartment you will have all facilities at your disposal:

As with most of Graça ’s typical apartments, expect to find little balconies and windows, small spaces, thin floor and walls made of wood, and steep and narrow staircases (for example, 3 flights of stairs to reach the apartment/no elevator). There is no soundproof, we can hear both…birds singing and the lively neighborhood! We advise you to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, comfortable shoes and to avoid heavy luggage.
