Lovely, charming apartment, cozy but perfectly equipped with all the comforts to make you feel at home! It is a tribute to our uncle José who used to help our parents at the Flea Market.
The little apartment was renovated and tastefully decorated with care, has 2 bedrooms, with windows overlooking the little local street. Chat with our neighbors on the doorstep, hang your washing and feel like a local!
Perfect location! It is within walking distance to most of Lisbon attractions, but sufficiently far from the most crowded places. A few steps away from the Flea Market, the best market in Lisboa (every Tuesday and Saturday), the place where our family has been working since 1975. Close to a park with beautiful view over the river, and a little playground.
The apartment situated on a 2nd- floor old building, and little street, has perfect location. Close to most of the famous touristic spots, and just a few steps away from the Flea Market (Feira da Ladra), the National Pantheon, and S. Vicente Monastery, and beautiful viewpoints.
The apartment is also situated a few steps from a quiet garden- Jardim Botto Machado, with amazing view over Tejo River, a little coffee-place, a playground, coffee shop and fitness outdoor equipment.
Graça is the most genuine neighborhood in Lisbon! Safe, central and beautiful. It is known for its amazing viewpoints, little colorful tiled houses, worker`s villas, ancient palaces. You will be impressed with the lively atmosphere and all the things to do around!
The neighborhood has everything you need. It is just a 5 minute walk to “Largo da Graça” square with its 28 Yellow Tram, local shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and bars. Very easy to walk or take public transport everywhere. A 10 minute walk to Santa Apolonia Train/Metro station (blue line) and buses. A 20 minute walk to the city center.
In the apartment you will have all facilities at your disposal:

As with most of Graça ’s typical apartments, expect to find little balconies and windows, small spaces without AC (we use heaters and fans), low ceilings /door frames (up to 1.90 m), thin floor and walls made of wood, and steep and narrow staircases (for example, 2 flight of stairs to reach the apartment/no elevator). There is no soundproof, we can hear both…birds singing and the lively neighborhood! We advise you to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, comfortable shoes and to avoid heavy luggage.
